Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are a highly cosmetic solution to anterior aesthetic concerns in some cases. They consist of essentially a thin shell of porcelain which is bonded onto the front surfaces of the teeth. Preparing teeth often can be done with minimal removal of tooth structure (enamel), and thus local anesthetic may not be necessary. For optimum results rarely are “no-prep” veneers such as Lumineers suggested – which is why we don’t offer them. I feel there are superior forms of porcelain and that removing a small amount of enamel allows us to have sufficient thickness of material and contours which appear more natural and lifelike.
